Join AmeriCorps through ARCH!  

ARCH provides placement of AmeriCorps members throughout our region. Some AmeriCorps volunteers have already begun their assignments, but we still
have several slots left to fill in Johnson City and Bristol.

When you join AmeriCorps through ARCH you will be placed with us, or a host site in the areas we serve, based on your skills and interests. Other considerations are where you live and if you have reliable transportation. We have host sites in Northeast Tennessee, Chattanooga, Morristown, and Paris, TN. So spread the word.

AmeriCorps members receive student loan deferment, training, a monthly living allowance, an educational award of up to $6,345 upon completion of your term that you can use to pay off student loans or pursue your educational goals and connection to a national network of AmeriCorps members.  

This past year we placed AmeriCorps members at these agencies:

  • Appalachian Regional Coalition on Homelessness (ARCH)

  • Chattanooga Regional Homeless Coalition

  • Family Promise of Greater Kingsport

  • Family Promise of Bristol

  • Serenity House

  • Fresh Start Foundation

  • Kingsport Housing and Redevelopment Authority

  • First Tennessee Development District

  • First Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability

  • West Tennessee Homeless Solutions
